SoCal Enduro MTB Tales: What it’s like to really race enduro!

It had been 5 years since my last enduro race and it had my mind going a mile a minute! I’m ultra-competitive which can sometimes make me my own worst enemy where you want to be cool, calm, and collected. With nerves at an all-time high, I was fortunate enough to meet a rad group of guys racing my class that helped make this one of my best experiences on a bike. I even managed to pull off the win in 30-39 Masters class! All of my life, I’ve raced motorcycles and bikes, but due to some serious injuries I’d taken a few years off. To be completely transparent, winning this local event brought me a couple tears of joy, lol! There is no feeling like doing well in competition when you’ve been working your butt off.
